Focus-Wash is Aqueous Technologies’ unique combination of several wash methods which together “focuses” the wash solution into smaller, higher impact areas.

 Rationale

1 When compared to previous models, the nozzle’s spray angle is decreased from 50° to 15°and the flow rate is increased approximately 60%.   This improves several important factors.  The wash solution’s impact pressure increases nearly fivefold.  Furthermore, the wash solution’s higher velocity is able to better reach between boards.

2 Previous spray arm designs used 8 nozzles symmetrically located around the spray-arm’s midpoint, creating 4 concentric wash patterns.  The new design uses 10 nozzles, but arranges them to create 10 concentric spray patterns

3 The previous designs produced the same wash pattern “over and over”.  The oscillating the board rack adds a new dimension to the system.  The “stroke” of the oscillating board rack is approximately equal to the nozzle spacing, thereby, guaranteeing no blind spots and creating multi-directional impingement.

 4 The pumps selected for the new Focus-Wash spray system are optimized to ensure the meet their published best efficiency point.  The result is better pump utilization, longer pump life, and lower electrical costs.
