Aqueous Technologies’ equipment utilizes our planet's purest substance, water, for the removal of harmful ionic residues. It is our mission to develop environmentally-conscious equipment that assists manufacturers with increasing product reliability.
Just a few short years ago, we introduced zero discharge defluxing / cleaning systems. Today, our zero-discharge cleaning systems save both water and energy, reducing our industry's environmental impact.

At Aqueous Technologies, we’ve been designing and manufacturing defluxing and cleanliness testing systems for the electronics assembly industry for more than 30 years. From humble beginnings and through dedication to a core value that reliability matters our company has grown into a go-to resource for the worlds leading electronic manufacturers.
All of our systems are built from the ground up at our 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Southern California. We take pride in being a patriotic company and select our materials, vendors, and team members with a commitment to our shared values.
From our flagship series of defluxing systems (Trident) to our ionic contamination testers (Zero Ion), and our line of StencilWasher ultrasonic stencil cleaners, all our products are crafted by skilled hands and supported with kind hearts. These systems have all been created to be dependable and user friendly.

As we begin a new year, I want to thank you for visiting Aqueous Technologies and for being part of our journey. From humble beginnings in a small garage in 1992, Aqueous Technologies has grown into a global supplier of advanced cleaning and cleanliness verification systems for the electronic assembly industry. While our scale has evolved, our focus has remained unchanged for more than three decades: helping manufacturers improve product reliability, reduce risk, and meet the increasing demands of modern electronics.
Environmental Responsibility by Design
Sustainability is not an afterthought at Aqueous Technologies, it is engineered into our systems from the ground up. Our cleaning platforms are available in fully closed-loop, zero-discharge configurations, allowing manufacturers to eliminate environmental liability while maintaining process performance. This approach reflects our long-standing belief that environmental responsibility and advanced manufacturing technology must coexist.
Reliability Through Proven Cleaning and Verification
Reliability begins with cleanliness. Residues left behind after reflow can contribute to electrical leakage, corrosion, and premature field failures, especially as component densities and operating environments become more demanding. Our cleaning systems are designed to effectively remove these residues to meet IPC cleanliness standards, while our cleanliness verification tools provide process-relevant data for IPC required process monitoring. Together, they help manufacturers reduce variability, improve long-term reliability, and maintain compliance with current IPC process cleanliness and process monitoring requirements.
